Marsh Warbler

Each painted piece is carved by hand. A pyrograph tool is then used to give texture to feathers. Finally the piece is carefully painted with acrylic watercolour.

Similar to the reed warbler, marsh warblers are whiter below, more olive above and have pale legs. Like other warblers they are highly active, searching their habitat of shrubs and dense vegetation for food.
